Thanks so much to all who came out to our show at Schubas last night! We had such a good time, and it was great to open for our friends May Or May Not in what was certainly the best night of their Schubas Practice Space Residency.

As you probably noticed, we have a new drummer, Trip Small, playing with us and things are just clicking perfectly right now, maybe more than ever before. We have more new songs in the works than we could have fit into our set last night, so our next show should be a pretty good look at what we've been up to.

Thanks again toMay Or May Not and Schubas for having us, from what you told us the sound in the room was fantastic. Can't wait to play there again. Really appreciate everyone coming out - all we can say is tell your friends and spread the word, we're having a great time right now and things are just going to bigger and better. We're working on a November show right now and will have details posted as soon as something is confirmed. Have a good week!

Hello there friends, summer treating you well? Things are going quite well here and we've just posted two upcoming shows above: Quenchers on August 31st, and Schubas on September 24th. Couldn't be more excited about both of these.

Quenchers - the somewhat inconspicuous bar at the corner of Western & Fullerton - is pretty much the place where the idea for this band was born, way back in late 2001. Michael was a regular at the weekly Monday night open mics back then and it was literally the first place he ever sang and performed live. Joe was often in attendance, and after plenty of conversations about favorite bands like The Cure, The Catherine Wheel andSunny Day Real Estate, it seemed obvious that they would one day put a band together. Countless bands were born out of the back room at Quenchers, and we're really glad to be one of them.

Looking ahead to September, we're really excited to be playing at Schubas for the first time on Monday the 23rd. We'll be opening for our friends May Or May Not, who are taking part in the Monday night Practice Space residency.

We've been fast at work on several new songs throughout the summer and we plan on having quite a few new ones at both of these shows. Don't miss them!

Hello to one and all. We've not had many updates in a while so it's time to let you know what's on the horizon for us.

We're glad to let you know that guitarist/keyboard player Jamie Motz will be back in the band very soon once he moves back from Las Vegas. Like the wide-eyed wunderkind he is, he left Chicago in February for the brighter lights of Sin City in hopes of finding something... anything. In the end it took a little less than three months for him to discover the place is a cess pool of depravity and mayhem. Funny, we know a hundred people who've never been there and could have told you just that, without having to relocate and find out for themselves.

Anyhow, the good news is Jamie is coming back to Chicago and thus will soon be gracing the stage with us again - which we're very happy about. As for that wunderkind remark, trust us, you don't want to know what that's about. It's gross. You'll gag. You might laugh a little, but you'll still gag.

In related goings-on, we're working furiously on more new music than at any point in the past. Bands are strange things, it takes a while to find your stride and figure out what works best, but we have a really good feeling about where things are going right now.

Last but certainly not least, a huge thanks to Rob Seay for filling in on guitar while we were in Texas. We had a great time with him and it was a pretty furious time getting ready for those shows so quickly.

Finally, check out the photos page, where we've added tons of pictures from throughout 2006, and photos from our trip to Texas.

We have a few shows in the works for mid summer, can't wait to get these new songs out there. This is going to be a good good year...

We have returned safe and sound from our trip down to Texas - a great time was had by all and it was plenty of fun to play two shows to new fans and many great friends. We'll have photos up soon at some point this week, but want to thank everyone who made it out to our shows in Austin and Dallas. It was a thrill to finally play a show with our friends Sybris, amazing how we had to drive 1,000 miles away from home to make that happen! Additionally, we'd like to extend a special thank you to the state of Arkansas: you just might have the worst roads in North America, but apparently you had no police to prevent us from carving a 90 mph path across your roads en route to Memphis. We made incredible time!

Thanks to everyone who came out this past Friday to our show at the Beat Kitchen. It was fun doing an acoustic set and many of you seemed to enjoy yourselves. Brice Woodall were great, as was opener Conor Redig.

As we said on Friday, it was Jamie's last show with us, and lucky him, he's already relocated himself to Las Vegas and warmer temperatures while the rest of us suffer in the cold. We're going to miss him for sure and he left big shoes to fill.

We're busy trying out new guitarists and getting ready for shows in Texas during the month of March. We'll be playing at the Texas Rockfest in Austin during the week of March 13 - 18, and we're working on a hometown show of sorts in Dallas, where two of us spent a large portion of our lives growing up. We'll have more details available as we receive them.

Hello there friends and happy new year. We are quite glad to see 2007 and hope the year will be your best ever. Honestly. We do indeed mean every word of it.

Drummer Adam Zeciri is no longer with the band, we wish Adam well and his contributions during the past ten months won't be forgotten.

We've got our next show coming up in a few weeks at The Beat Kitchen, we'll have someone filling in on drums and might do a couple acoustic songs to change things up a bit. Two great bands on the bill that night as well, Conor Redig opening and Brice Woodall & The Bots headlining and having their record release show that night as well.

Some more cool news coming in the next couple of weeks, stay tuned...

Lots of thanks to everyone who came out to our show last night - the place was packed, we loved every single second of it. It was the best crowd we've ever had, and if you've never been to the Cobra Lounge you should do so soon. The place rules, the staff is excellent and they took great care of us.

Great playing with Chin Up and the band Rahim, who were added to the lineup before the show.

Thanks again to all who came, and to Camel for putting on the event. Now be safe out there in the snow...

For one reason or another the mailing list signup page has not been working for some time, but it is now. If you've just found your way here, please sign up so we can keep in touch with you. We'll have a few announcements in the next month related to our album, and some form of release show in late December or early January. Things have gone incredibly well, we only have to get everything mixed and we're done. A few weeks of waiting for CDs to be pressed/packaged/shipped and then they're out of our hands and into yours.

New t-shirts are on the way as well and should be available at our show on the 29th at Cobra Lounge - just a couple weeks away.

Hello friends! We've just finished up the first weekend of work on our album at Million Yen in Chicago, and aside from some setbacks that are now decidedly in the past, we made good progress and are incredibly excited about what we're hearing. There's still more to be done, but we feel like we've put our stamp on these songs in a really good way. We've got eight songs done and will likely have one more to finish it off.

We should have a small number of advanced promo copies available at our show at The Cobra Lounge on the 29th, and we'll be having a release show at some point in December or early January. It's a thrill to be working on this music and hear it all coming together - we'll be playing everything from the album at the show and can't wait to have it available for you. Til then! seperator

Two new shows posted today! Coming up in October, we have a free show at The Pontiac Cafe in Wicker Park, with The Vacancy, from Pittsburgh, PA. Another Chicago band will be added to the bill soon.

Then, coming up on Wednesday November 29th, we'll be opening up for Chicago's Chin Up Chin Up at The Cobra Lounge. We are super excited about this show and will have more details as the date gets closer. seperator

Our thanks to everyone who came out last night to what was our first headlining show on a Saturday, at the place we enjoy playing the most. As this post is coming to you at 3.30 a.m. it's important to note that there's a bit of drink in the system, but in the end all it really does is keep you honest. For that we'd like to say that we really appreciate everyone that comes out to our shows, enjoys themselves, has some good words to say, and reminds us that we're not just doing this to fill idle time... we're having a blast with this new version of ourselves, we're having fun on stage, and we're enjoying that you're having fun in front of us. In the end that's all that matters, and that's why we do what we do.

In the near future... no shows scheduled at the moment, we're getting ready to record in September and will be doing between 6 - 8 songs including new ones Skin To Skin, The Fastest Way To Leave, an as yet untitled new song that too many of you have said is the best thing we've done so far (our thanks for that), a new version of E.S.P., and hopefully two more new ones we've not even thought about yet. Who knows what will happen, but with any luck this forthcoming E.P. will be set for release in November.

As always, we'll have news and other important information on this site and our myspace page.

As you can obviously see, we have a new website. Tis a good day. There are new photos from our recent Beat Kitchen show, and older show photos should be back up soon enough. There's also an improved mailing list signup on the Mailing List page.
Hope you've not forgotten the free show tomorrow night at The Pontiac in Wicker Park. We are indeed looking forward to it!

Our thanks to everyone who came out last night to The Beat Kitchen - our first time to play there and second show in full force as a four piece. We played two new songs, The Fastest Way To Leave, and Skin to Skin, both giving a glimpse of the new things we're up to, with much more to follow.

We've just posted our next show, Monday July 3rd at The Pontiac Cafe in Wicker Park. Four day holiday weekend, booze flowing as only it should in the summer, and best of all - it's a free show. Tell your neighbors, old friends, random strangers, and fellow CTA passengers because we're really looking forward to this one. Mannequin Men will be playing as well.

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to Subterranean this past Thursday to what was our first show in six months. We had a great time, had one of our larger crowds ever, and gave you just a small glimpse of what our new lineup will lead to. Really glad to be playing again, lots of new ideas and sounds and songs to be worked on throughout the summer.

Local band Dark Country were great and we're hoping to do another show with them in the next couple of months.

We're playing this coming Friday, June 2nd, at Silvie's Lounge, details over there to the right. Should be a fun show, so we hope to see you there. seperator 03 May 2006
Greetings friends, we're pleased to announce that we're back in the swing of things after a multi-month break. We've got two shows coming up very soon, and even better, a change to our lineup that finds us with an even bigger sound, some keys/synths thrown in for good measure, some reworked versions of old songs, and plenty of new songs just around the corner.

Our original drummer, Fred, left the band in January to play with a couple other bands, and soon after we added our friend Adam Zeciri to his spot. Why stop there, we said? We've also added guitarist Jamie Motz, and he'll also be playing keyboards and such. We're excited by these changes and how everything has been taking shape.

We have two shows coming up in the next month: Thursday May 25 at Subterranean, opening for Oakley Hall, a somewhat country, somewhat rock, and somewhat psychedelic band from Brooklyn. Then on Friday June 2, we're playing at Silvie's Lounge with Collectors and The Layaways.

Hoping to see everyone at these shows, we're quite glad to be back at it.
